Chrome shares bug with Internet Explorer

Today I launched Chrome, a browser that I have installed but don't use because I prefer a different browser. It was the first launch since a system upgrade, and when I quit it I discovered an unwanted Chrome shortcut on my desktop. That means Chrome shares an egregious, some might say 'evil', bug with Internet Explorer. A friend insists that Chrome must have asked my permission to install the insidious icon, but I sure don't remember one, so if there was one I think it should have bore a big flashing red sign warning me of its intent to sully my desktop.

Despite this, I am unwilling to say that Chrome sucks, or that Google is a failure; because it doesn't, and they aren't.

Firefox FTW.
