My Neighbors Have A Lot of Glowing Sheep

This is a picture of a house in my neighborhood. Holy sheep, that's quite a display!



This yard ornamentation is so preposterous that by default I am going to give this neighbor the full benefit of the doubt, and assume that this hideous creche is ironically hideous. And with that in mind, I congratulate this neighbor for this waggery.

On the other hand, consider the possibility that this is not an ironic setup. In that case, what would all these lit ruminants mean? Are the sheep a symbol of religious devotion? Does this Christmas display qualify the homeowner for extra Jesus Points?
